43 acres of woods, ponds and gardens surround the magnificent Bailey Arboretum in Lattingtown, NY. This charming, Federal-style house was originally built in the 1820s and expanded in 1911 after the Bailey family bought the estate. It's available for rental for private parties, weddings, birthdays, and other social and corporate events, and can accommodate up to 100 guests for a seated dinner or 200 with a tent on the broad lawn behind the house.
The Bailey Arboretum offers both indoor and outdoor options for your ceremony and reception. The first floor features a formal dining room, a large double living room and a spacious enclosed sun porch overlooking the beautiful gardens. The conference room in the carriage barn can be set up for workshops or children's birthday parties. The Terrace offers a number of photo opportunities to capture those special moments. A bridal room is available for you and your bridal party.
The professional managers will assist you throughout the planning process and help turn your vision into reality. They can recommend caterers, musicians, valets, DJs, florists, event coordinators and other reputable vendors or if you prefer, you can do it all yourself. Catering companies for the Bailey Arboretum include the Culinary Studio, Culinary Architect, the Metropolitan and Elegant Affairs, all of which have established a reputation for providing excellent cuisine and great service throughout the years. Site fees are calculated according to the size of your event, the length of time you'll be using the space, and the services you require. All proceeds from Bailey Arboretum's rental go directly to its operating budget to preserve and enhance the building and its grounds.
Completely remodeled in 2005, the Bailey Arboretum offers elegant settings, breathtaking views and memories to last a lifetime. The Arboretum is open to the public as well and admission is free.
