The Town of Babylon is located in the southwestern part of Suffolk County, Long Island. The west town line is the border of Nassau County, while the south town line is the Atlantic Ocean. Part of the Great South Bay, Jones Beach Island, and the famed Fire Island are in the southern part of the town. The Town of Babylon contains three villages, about eleven hamlets, and six islands. It is also home to four major beaches and four state parks. Babylon is a wonderful place for anyone needing to get away for a summer, or simply for the perfect weekend.
