Farmingdale is located in the Oyster Bay area of Long Island. It is home to the well known Bethpage State Park. Also home to the State University of New York at Farmingdale, Farmingdale hosts major cultural and community events such as Home Show expos. Served by the Long Island Railroad, Farmingdale has easy access to other parts of Long Island, as well as to Manhattan. Its central location also serves Farmingdale visitors and guests well in that it's an easy jaunt from Suffolk to Nassau County.
