If you are looking for a great place to host a party or just enjoy a nice meal in the Hamptons, you are not going to find a lot of restaurants that match this one! They really have raised the bar for me; nothing else seems to compare. At first we thought that they were there just for the bed and breakfast guests, so we didn’t go for a long time, but then one day one of my friends was talking about it, and I was like, “wait, what? Anyone can eat there?” So we showed up and sat down for dinner, and loved it! There’s indoor and outdoor seating, including the most beautiful big veranda I’ve ever seen. I’m not sure if this is a historical building or not, but it sure looks and feels like one. Thankfully it’s open year-round too, not just during the summer. We’d eaten here several times when we realized we needed a place to host a small event. We had about 30 people that we needed to feed, and we came up with the idea of holding the event here right away. It just made sense. Turns out they cater for both large and small parties. I think they can handle groups of over 200 people here! But they also do groups even smaller than ours, so if you have a little party or a big one, this is the place. I imagine if you were going to get married here, you could do it on the lawn down by the water. It’d make a lovely backdrop, and there’d be more than enough space even for larger groups. It was very fun; the service was phenomenal and the food as always was outstanding. Anyway, they do all sorts of cool things here, probably because of the inn. You can go on a cruise on the bay on a little boat, or you can do cooking classes! Basically you get to cook and eat whatever is on the menu that night; they do international food and stuff. We did the Russian food one. There was this really amazing soup, and an amazingly unique chicken dish with apples and cheese sauce. Sounds weird, I know, but it was awesome. There are a lot more cooking classes coming up, so I am definitely going to check that out.
