We were drawn here because the prices were more affordable than a lot of the costs we saw quoted at other places. Mind you, depending on all the add-ons you choose, the price could end up being comparable to or more expensive than a lot of other venues, so you have to do the math ahead of time. I recommend you ask them about the costs for add-ons and figure out what your total cost will be before you make a reservation. We were more than happy with our price because we had already opted to do some things on our own. Saving money on our reservation made it easier to afford those other services. They have several packages which are tailored to different budgets and preferences. There is an all-inclusive one where they set you up with all the services you need, and then there are several others where you need to set up separately with your photographer, florist, etc. These ones cost less of course, but the all-inclusive package is probably the lowest cost deal overall. The package that we chose was the “Garden Menu,” not the all-inclusive package. We already had other arrangements for flowers and a DJ, and wanted to keep them. We got the manor for five hours, including a beautiful cocktail hour followed by a gourmet dinner. The cocktail hour was what both of us loved the best, and it’s what most of our guests enjoyed the most as well. It took place in the European Gardens. Beautifully landscaped environment with lovely waterfalls and these stone walls and lanterns which make you feel like you’re in some medieval palace. You can hold your ceremony out there too, though we were married at my parents’ church. The dinner afterward was held indoors in the “Diamond Room.” It’s a really beautiful reception hall with a diamond shaped dance floor, red and gold carpets, and soft lighting and skylights. Once we had our centerpieces in place, it looked quite elegant. Zoli and George were so great, as were all their staff! We can’t thank them enough for their kindness and their hard work to make our entire day perfect. Mike too, our maitre’d! I can’t forget to mention Mike! He was so kind and helpful to both of us, and also to my parents. I thought it was really amazing he would go out of his way to check on them as well as us. We did choose to go with their photographer, Madison Avenue is the name of the company. We were pretty unsure as to how to go about finding someone we could rely on, so going with the venue’s own preferred photographer seemed like the easiest way to go! The photos came back looking outstanding! Every special moment captured! I want to take a moment and explain why we were on such a tight budget for our wedding. You see, we originally had a reservation someone else, but something came up and we were forced to cancel and move the date. But you know how that goes. They refused to refund us the reservation fee, so we were out thousands of dollars. I was so miserable when we realized we had to start all over again, and we’d lost all that money. So when I tell you that George and Zoli actually managed to lift my spirits right from the beginning, you can understand why I was so thrilled when I found this place. Finally, here was somewhere we could afford, and the staff here actually was much nicer and more competent than the staff at the other venue, the one that just took our money and ran when we had to cancel, even with so many months to go. I know it was their policy, but I doubt that they really had to do that. They had a lot of time left and we didn’t really inconvenience them. I am sure they filled that spot quickly. So I truly think that things worked out for the best in the end after all. Yes, losing the first wedding date and the first venue and all that money was a major drag, but if things hadn’t happened that way, we never would have found Mediterranean Manor, and I can’t help but wonder. Would the other place have done as good a job? Or would our wedding there have not been the same? We would have missed out on great food, a beautiful setting, and wonderful people. And I can’t help but think that other place wouldn’t have been nearly this great, and it would have ultimately ended up costing more anyway! They have a cool thing here on Thursday nights where you can come to the lounge in the garden and hang out! They have live music and you can enjoy their awesome food. We’ve come to a couple of these nights since our wedding and have had a great time. It’s so cool we can still visit the garden and hang out. It’s helped us to keep our wedding memories strong and continue to celebrate our marriage. So don’t let the fact that this is a “budget” place which markets itself as such steer you away from it. It’s really quite a special place, and I know that you will fall in love with it just as we did. The delicious gourmet food, the lovely gardens and the Diamond Room, the wonderful service, all of it was just way beyond our wildest expectations. Mediterranean Manor proves that you can have an amazing wedding without breaking the bank. While we had our own DJ and flowers, I am sure the all-inclusive package would have been great. The package we did get was perfect for our needs and made for a perfect day!
I was the photographer at a wedding earlier this year, and it was my first time here. I had always been curious about the place, and actually am soon going to be proposing to my girlfriend and trying to decide on a venue for our own wedding. I’ve been to a lot of different wedding venues and I’ve watched more weddings than I can count. As a photographer, I am always in search of beauty, and looking to capture the most beautiful aspects of any wedding, so I tend to see the best in things—and also the worst. I’ve seen a lot of beautiful weddings, but this one takes the cake as the most spectacular I’ve seen. The venue itself is very photogenic, with some of the most colorful gardens around. It’s really easy to get a great shot in their outdoor area. The ceremony I saw was outdoors, so I was able to capture some spectacular shots. One of the perks of this gig is the food. Most of the time I’m allowed to eat the wedding food with the rest of the guests, and the food here was spectacular! I really enjoyed the cocktail hour. They do an awesome job with seafood here. One of the main things I pay attention to as a photographer at so many weddings is the staff, and that really was what made the biggest impact on me here. Oftentimes as a photographer, I’m treated as a kind of unwanted guest, or like someone who both is and is not a guest. I usually feel like I am “in the way” and like I should try and be absolutely invisible. And I don’t want to get in the way, so that’s usually what I do. But here, the staff treated me like I was just another guest, and showed me their complete respect and attentiveness. That’s actually an unprecedented experience for me. I watched how they treated the rest of the guests too and noticed they were like that with everyone. They treated the bride and groom like they were made of gold, but they also treated everyone else like that. I really hope that I get another chance to work here again soon, because it was a very enjoyable afternoon, and a lot more fun than I usually have at one of these gigs. And when I propose to my girlfriend, I hope that she’ll love this place as much as I do and want to do our wedding here, because I really think I’ve discovered the best of what Long Island has to offer here. They would be a really tough act to follow.
Looking for the most amazing wedding venue on the planet? You’ve found it. If your experience is anything like ours was, you will have the most incredible time of your lives! And at such a good price! Seriously, when you hear the quote, you won’t believe it. But when you meet the wonderful staff, you will! Definitely ask for Coorie as your bridal attendant. She is just the best. This was my second wedding; the first was in a completely different state. I remember being impressed then, but this time was even more amazing! It’s tough trying to put together a wedding when you are constantly making comparisons to your first wedding, but I can honestly say that almost every aspect of this experience was superior to the first time through. One thing that really made me happy was how great these people were working with me, my husband, and everyone else we had involved with the planning process! We all had different planning styles, worries, and so on, and they were equally amazing working with every one of us to assuage our fears, help us relax, and make our dreams come true! These people aren’t just experts at planning weddings, but at customer service as well! Their dedication and flexibility really amazed us!
We were married at the Mediterranean Manor this year, and it was a very elegant affair! The venue has these beautiful European-styled architectural elements, and the gardens have these lovely waterfalls and fountains. We felt liked we’d been whisked away to another place and time. This place offers some really amazing deals. We were trying to plan the nicest wedding we could on a budget, so we were not sure what to expect. They really amazed us! For the price, you really are going to be surprised by how wonderful everything is. My bridal hostess Coorie was incredible, so were George and Zoli. We could not have handled the planning or the day itself if not for their professionalism and their commitment to helping us keep our schedule. They made everything easy for us; I was heavily relying on Coorie, and she never once let me down. She brought me everything I needed, reminded me of what was happening next, and did an amazing job helping me relax! One of the reasons we went with this venue was the all-in-one thing; they had this all-inclusive packaged deal, which like I said, saved us a lot of money, but it also cut down so much of the planning. They provided us with an awesome DJ, and we got several options for a limousine, and went with the one they recommended to us. Our driver was great, and we’d never been in a limo before, so that was a lot of fun. They set us up with a photographer too. The prints are beautiful, and they gave us thank-you photos and cards to mail out to our guests too! How cool is that? And they set us up with our flowers too. If you want to make planning your wedding as easy as possible without overspending, and you want to get married in a beautiful setting with incredible staff there to take care of every worry, this is the place to get married!

This is a really beautiful place to hold a wedding, and the food is so outstanding I still can't get over how scrumptious it was. But what really amazed us was the planning committee. George in particular really stood out. He was really into everything he did, and we could tell he loves his work, and loves making other people happy. We had a wonderful time!
My wedding is set for October of this year. So far, they have been amazing!!! Robert Jay answers all my questions quickly and with ease and has made this portion of my planning so wonderful! I have tried the food, YUM and I'm using their vendors for the florists (Tall Tree) who has also been so sweet and helpful. Make sure you check out the outdoor area where the ceremony can be held. I had tears in my eyes of pure excitement when I looked at it. Can not wait for my big day!!! Thank You Med Manor for helping make my dream wedding come true!
My husband Jeff and I were married here on April 12, 2013 and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Jeff had just had major surgery and we didn't have a lot of money in savings left for our wedding anymore but still wanted a big wedding to celebrate our new life together. After much stress, we finally found Mediterranean Manor and George helped us make our dreams come true! All of the vendors we had were awesome and the staff at Med Manor were so friendly and professional. We absolutely loved the food and menu choices.. there was so many options!!! If you are looking for an affordable venue that is elegant and amazing, Med Manor is for you!! You will hear great things from your family members and friends who attended the wedding for months after!!! (I still am!) :)
