This is the ultimate catering venue for any kosher affair! Our family has used them so many times … bar mitzvahs, a couple of weddings, an anniversary celebration, a few other things. Most recently we used them for my son’s bar mitzvah. It was something he’d looked forward to for years. His sister is older than him, but he remembered her mitzvah, which was also held here, and he loved that. So we all knew pretty much what to expect, and we had the same great experience we did last time … only not exactly the same of course! They are really great about personalizing every celebration. Our son’s personality is a lot different than our daughter’s, and their parties were very different too. Different décor, a different ambiance, very different music and entertainment. They were so great at making it all happen. And as always, the food they made was absolutely divine. They are terrific chefs here. I can’t imagine what our family would do without them. They will do all of our celebrations for as long as they are around! We can always count on them to make it wonderful day!

We picked Seaview and Temple Beth El for our son’s bar mitzvah. On his special day, we wanted everything to be perfect! Our family is huge, and most of us live here in the area, so we knew we were going to have a long guest list. Add to that that he had a ton of friends from school he wanted to invite, and we knew we were going to have to pick a really big place! Our guest list ended up with hundreds of names on it, and Gayle assured us that we would have no problem fitting them in here with room to spare. That was what we wanted to hear! We loved the place when we visited. It was beautiful—they were busy setting up for another event, and we knew it’d be the perfect choice. The other big reason to go with Temple Beth El is that they handle everything. And I do mean everything! There was nothing that Gayle couldn’t take care of for us. They took care of not only the food, but also the decorations and flowers, the DJ, lighting and sound, and all the entertainment. There was almost nothing left for us to take care of on our own. Their staff was also incredible, and deserve some special notice. Working with Gayle to plan everything was great, but it wasn’t just Gayle who was amazing. The entire wait staff was incredible! They were all very professional, but also fun and lighthearted and totally into the spirit of the event. They were all familiar with Kosher rules, and they were all wonderful. It turned out that a lot of our guests knew all about Seaview, and many of them had actually used them in the past for their own events: mitzvahs and weddings and the like. I think they are actually one of the best-known Kosher venues around. We just didn’t know them before because we were new to the area. Now I realize if we had been here longer, we would have had them recommended to us, probably multiple times. So if someone has recently suggested them to you, and you are trying to make up your mind, really just go for it! You will be so happy with them. They are outstanding!

My daughter was married here the other month, and one of the first things I did was sit down to write a review of this wonderful place. I didn’t want to post it though until I felt like it was perfect. After all, these wonderful people went above and beyond to make sure that my daughter’s wedding was perfect, and we are still amazed at just how perfect it was! We’ve been looking back over the photos and the videos of that day ever since. We just don’t want to stop reliving it. It’s still a fresh memory, and it’s one of those evenings you just want to remember like it was yesterday for the rest of your life. Our daughter was married at the temple before we came here for the reception. We love that she was able to get married at the temple and this company was able to handle both the wedding ceremony *and* the reception. The reception was here in the ballroom. The attention they gave the bride and groom was unmatched by anything I can remember ever, even at my own wedding. I would love to have had the kind of professional thoughtfulness and demeanor of Russell, who was the maitre’d, or Roz, who was the bridal attendant. My daughter still can’t stop talking about both of them. Russel was just ahead of the game every step of the way. I have no idea how early he arrived that morning to get everything set up, because when we arrived, there were snacks, drinks, decorations, everything already in place. We knew then that this was going to be an experience to remember. Roz was there to look after my daughter the entire day, giving her her fullest attention. She also managed to somehow look after our son-in-law and his family too, as well as us. I was amazed at how she seemed to be able to be everywhere at once, and the entire time, she was just so calm and had it all together! We certainly didn’t. But she never once let us get her flustered. Instead, she actually managed to get the rest of us to calm down. She had everything with her at all times, and it seemed like there was nothing she didn’t have immediately on hand the moment one of us needed it. It was like our daughter was the princess in a fairytale, and Roz was her personal lady-in-waiting. We loved the cocktail hour, the reception, the dinner. Everything tasted spectacular; these people know how to make amazing kosher food. We got to take home leftovers, which we enjoyed for a couple of days before they were all gone. My husband’s still asking me if there is anything left, even though he knows clear well that we went through it all! Everything was just really beautiful. We loved every moment, all of us. I always wanted my daughter’s wedding to be this incredible day, and it was—everything I could have wanted for her and so much more. Like I said, this knocked the socks off of my own wedding. We are so happy for her and our son-in-law. Thank you so much for everything!

Like a lot of other people, we found Seaview by way of referrals. Originally we were just searching for a company that could handle the food and keep it kosher, but we found out that Seaview is way more than a caterer when we called them up to talk to them about our wedding! They’re an events planning company that does it all. What a nice surprise that was. Here we were thinking we were going to have to call up all these different vendors to try and deal with the invitations and the décor and everything, and suddenly it was like it was all just taken care of. These amazing people not only helped us put together the perfect menu and made us the most incredible food, but they also put together our invitations (which were just beautiful), the flowers, the tabletop decorations, the linens, and décor for the walls. They also took care of the lighting for our reception and dinner, and they did a fantastic job on it! They actually transformed a rather dull venue into an incredible event space that just looked fantastic! They totally customized the lighting and brought so much color into the room. They even were able to provide custom draperies and furniture. They worked with us to design party favors for our guests and parting gifts at the door. So very cool they were able to do all of this! It left us with a lot less to plan on our own. Oh, and did I mention that we went with their ballroom for our space? It’s huge, and you can have up to 500 guests. We had significantly less than that and there was just so much space! The staff they provided us with was incredible too. Everyone was just so professional and clearly dedicated to their jobs—it was obvious they really wanted to be there, and are passionate about making other peoples’ events a dream come true. In particular, we want to thank Gayle and Russ, who helped us out with the planning from top to bottom. You were both amazing! You guys deserve every success. Thank you so much for making our wedding reception such a dream, and for making the planning process to remarkably easy. That was a dream too!

My family is Jewish, so kosher catering was a must for our wedding. About half of the people in our family won’t even eat if the food isn’t kosher, so that left us with a handful of choices. A lot of the venues we looked at either didn’t have enough space for our party or they didn’t have much in the way of reviews or referrals. Several people at our temple have used Seaview though and they all told us that it was a good choice. So we went with it. The food was outstanding, actually far beyond my expectations. I figured with wedding food we’d be looking at overpriced so-so cuisine. It was actually really good though, not at all bland, and very authentic. They had no problems meeting special dietary requirements for a few people in our party, and they didn’t overcharge. It was all very reasonably priced. We all had a wonderful time, and we’ve already recommended them to others.
