The Vanderbilt Mansion Museum is a Spanish-Revival mansion set on 43 acres of spectacular property overlooking the Northport Bay in Centerport, NY. Built in three stages from the 1900s to the 1930s, the historic house is a unique combination of mansion, marine and natural history museum, planetarium and park. The museum opened in 1950 and as a public institution it's been offering visitors the opportunity to pursue their passion for learning.
The mansion provides a variety of romantic settings for your reception and ceremony. A peaceful reflecting pool adorns the entrance. Fountains, English style boxwood gardens and marble statues reflect the feeling of cultured comfort sought by Mr. Vanderbilt, a man famous for his eclectic taste and collecting interests.
